These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Acts. Whilst we take care to ensure that the descriptions and specifications on this website are correct, slight variations in the actual goods may occur.
Currency
All prices shown on this website are quoted in pounds sterling (credit cards sales will be charged in your local billing currency by your credit card provider). We reserve the right not to honour any erroneous prices caused by data entry errors or other technical problems. If you see any price you believe to be incorrect, please contact us so we may verify it for you.
Shipping/carriage
The final price quoted on the payments page is the price of the goods including delivery. These charges include carriage by a designated courier to both home and overseas destinations. Using this system, most European deliveries will be made within five to six working days, US, Canada and other areas should be delivered within seven to fourteen working days.
Duties and local taxes
Purchasers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied by their destination country. A commercial invoice is provided with all goods shipped.
Damage and loss in transit
Occasionally, things do get lost or damaged in transit. If you do receive damaged goods, please retain all relevant documentation so that an insurance claim can be made against the carrier's insurers. If you receive a battered parcel, note the fact on the delivery note, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as 'Damaged package; goods not yet inspected' or similar to warn the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming.
Please contact us by email with as much detail of the damage or loss as you can provide, as soon after delivery as possible, so that we can arrange replacement goods and start following up the carriers.
Please do NOT return damaged goods, unless requested by us to do so.
Returns and refunds
Legally we are only obliged to take returns if the product is damaged or not fit for use. However, we appreciate that it can be hard when buying online to know exactly what you are getting, so we try to be flexible. If you do want to return a product for any reason, Please email chica@boncoton.co.uk within two weeks of receiving the product stating your order reference, the name of the product, and what the problem is. We will then let you know whether you can return the product (we will generally take returns if they are in their original unopened packaging), and will tell you where and who to send it to. Upon receipt of the returned item, we will give you a refund, exchange, or credit note as agreed. Goods which have been soiled through wear or use will not be accepted for return.
Proof of posting
For your own protection, you are strongly advised to obtain a proof of posting,
or shipping certificate from a courier, when returning goods whatever the reason for the return. Goods which are returned to us but are lost in shipping remain your responsibility. A proof of posting will assist you in tracking any shipment which is reported as lost, damaged, mislaid or otherwise undelivered.
Payments
You can order online and pay through the website. Please note that on-line transactions are normally processed automatically whilst you are on-line to the secure transaction server.
Confidentiality
We undertake to keep all information supplied to us by customers strictly confidential. We do not supply our 'mailing information' to third parties but do use it to advise our clients of goods and services we feel may be of interest to them, unless expressly instructed otherwise in writing. Information supplied to us may be stored on a computer system for our convenience, but will not be supplied to any outside agency. We prefer you to use the secure transaction services to make credit card transactions. This service is completely independent of our organisation and your credit card details are not divulged to us at any time.
All transactions undertaken through this website are governed by English Law and any legal actions arising out of such transactions shall be subject to the English Legal processes and under the jurisdiction of English Courts.
